Version 3 Embedded Systems

One of the key advantages of Adastra Version 3 is the ability to launch specialist applications that are seamlessly embedded within Adastra itself.

The main purpose of this approach is to support an integral clinical decision support capability, where systems appropriate to both a telephone assessment and face-to-face clinical environment are available from partner providers Plain Healthcare, Nightingale Teleguides and Logical Images.

Other externally referenced information sources such as the PILS Patient Information Leaflets and the Map of Medicine can also be effectively embedded in Adastra by using our integral launch process. This avoids the need for users to divert out of Adastra in order to launch an external web browser, and in the case of Map of Medicine, the Map can be launched at an appropriate point relative to the consultation.
